Have you ever heard someone say “Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof?” This is a figure of speech in German that every native German speaker will understand and which is commonly used. It means something like “I really don’t understand a word”. It’s also a perfect example for why taking a German course in Munich makes perfect sense for everyone new to the country. Translation apps will frequently fail at translating this term into other languages and even if you know all the words, it still doesn’t make any sense, yet all the native speakers know it. Understanding sayings, figures of speech and proverbs is one of the goals of our intensive German courses in Berlin.

These German courses in Berlin are designed to give you a quick and thorough understanding of the German language and the way it is used. They aim at putting you in a position to understand others and to actively participate in all kinds of conversations. Once you have completed the German course in Munich, you will be able to express your thoughts, ideas and needs in a convincing form and to communicate freely with peers, coworkers, authorities and everyone else. You will also be able to read texts of all kinds and to summarize the information contained therein in your own words. For someone who has just started learning German or who is still only toying with the idea of taking a German course in Munich, this seems like a pretty far-fetched objective. But in the history of our language school, there are hundreds of participants who have reached that goal in a two-week course and there is no reason why you shouldn’t join their ranks.
An important prerequisite for receiving a language visa for Germany is the submission of a school certificate confirming that you have attended a German language course at the German diplomatic mission abroad. The language course must have at least 20 teaching units per week (sometimes 18, depending on your home country). The contract for your language course must be presented to the German embassy in your home country, along with other documents. Please contact the German embassy in your country to find out which documents are still required for issuing a language visa. You should expect at least 8-12 weeks to process your visa application, so the application should be submitted in good time before your planned departure.
The prerequisite for receiving a certificate of registration for the German course from the Creative language school is the conclusion of a course contract (binding registration via our registration form) and a payment of the course fee of 100%. In the event of a refusal, we will refund the payment minus a cancellation fee of €100. You must submit the letter of rejection from the embassy for this. Withdrawal from the course must be made in writing (e.g. by email) at least 10 days before the start of the course. If the withdrawal is made later than 10 days before the start of the course, the course fees will not be refunded. After you have booked the VISA COURSE, you will receive an automated confirmation of registration from us with the details of the course and then a separate e-mail regarding the payment. After we have received the payment, we will immediately send you the course contract with which you can apply for the language visa.
